The way that I intend for my fashion magazine plans to be constructed would be to use Media Language and Media Representations to appeal to my audience of 14 to 18 year olds. The use of mise-en-scene would be used to convey how my audience sees the model thus giving an impact on the way they also see the magazine. As my magazine does focus on fashion the clothes used would be to represent the message of being independent and being a strong human being however I would also like to present the model as staying in touch with their cultural and feminine side but not to the extent where it starts to lose the influence that I want to generate. The use of light would be for the models face as it is able to highlight their feminine beauty .I would like to try and use minimal editing when coming to the actual model herself as to promote the self loving body positive image that I hope to create as to set a better standard of how people in society should respect one another and love themsel...

Prelim :Evaluation

1).In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products? In my magazine front cover I used and developed basic conventions such as my masthead and my cover lines however making them add an extra amount of influence amongst the piece. I also considered every part of my mise en scene as I wanted the picture to be the main attraction of the magazine: it is more images based then written based. This made my fashion magazine more sophisticated and reliable building a sense of reliability therefore being treated as if to be   real high end fashion magazine .As I started of initially with my image which was then accompanied with cover lines that linked back to an original theme of rising up and becoming more strong and independent especially amongst young coloured females and that was also shown through my masthead of warrior which added to the sense of power and enlightenment .I also tried many different fonts in order to fit...

Prelim: Research Rationale

For my market research which I have already began to have started since evaluating different magazine forms and conventions , I will attempt to further my understanding using online media platforms really focusing on the level of detail each magazine has added to ensure that their target audience is attracted to the piece . This will then allow me to be able to understand how each magazine appeals to their audience permitting me to conduct that same level of detail making sure that my audience is attracted to my fashion magazine there increasing its  potential  product value. The research I aim to conduct for my audience shall be to distribute surveys I have made for students within that audience range.
