THE MEDIA THEORETICAL FRAMEWORK



Media language = Media Language is what the media text is made up of for example the use of Mise-en-scene. Its created in a specific way to create meaning for the viewer/ reader.



Media Representations = Media Representations is how  the director / producer is trying portray a certain group of people for examples in many american movies they use a number of archetypes to portray teenagers.



Media Industries = media industries is the process of production / distribution.




Media Audiences = Media Audiences is how the audience themselves interprets or responds to a piece of media text.




Media Context =  How media reflects social, cultural, historical, political and economical context for instance the use of colloquial language.
